Personally, I don’t see any issue with coffee drinking. However, some people say and believe that coffee drinking is not healthy. However, most of them don’t like coffee just because they don’t like that taste or aroma and also, it’s their choice too. The other side of this story is that the coffee lovers like us don’t bother about health issues much because we need coffee. So, this article is focused on people who are in between this story and people who like coffee very much to understand the general bad norms in society regarding coffee drinking. This may help all of us to understand the real picture of this topic as per my point of view. It may be different from you but this is how I feel about it.

1 – Drinking Bad Coffee – Can Be Toxic

When we are drinking a cup of coffee as a habit because coffee becomes a part and partial of our lives, we just feel the taste infused by the coffee we used to make it. Do you really worry about the coffee beans or powder you used to prepare your cup of coffee?
Some may worry about it but some don’t. However, chemical reactions in our bodies vary with the quality of coffee we consumed. Hence, it was proven that bad coffee can cause sickness, headache, or a general bad feeling. If the coffees were made out of over ripen or ruined coffee beans, then even one bean is enough to make your coffee cup toxic. Don’t worry – you buy a high-quality specialty coffee, then you don’t feel this.

If your drink 80-100 coffee cups a day, it increases the caffeine level amounting to somewhere around 10-13 grams in our body which made our lives vulnerable. However, this is highly unlike the situation as our body reacts to this by vomiting the excess. So don’t worry about this as well.

3 – Drinking Coffee Can Cause Insomnia and Restlessness

Yet again, it’s all about the quantity. It is an accepted fact that the recommended caffeine amount a human can have per day is 400 milligrams. It is approximately 04 coffee cups per day and that is fine. Also, if your body is caffeine sensitive, then be careful. Then don’t drink coffee. That’s fine. However, most of us are already aware of what amount and what kind of coffee suits, or doesn’t suit you. Also, note that the amount of caffeine that is safe for human consumption is actually written in our DNA. Finally, it is advisable that 04 cups of coffee per day is very much okay with most of us.

There were studies conducted about coffee’s effect on a fetus that say that it may not be good for the fetus since it is highly sensitive to caffeine. It may be a hard sacrifice but don’t forget that you are going to do a far better sacrifice than that. Hence, it is advisable that if you are pregnant then, stop coffee drinking for some time.

5 – If You Are a Cholesterol Patient, Then Don’t Drink Coffee or Drink Filtered Coffee

Two ingredients i.e. cafestol and kahweol contain in coffee beans appear to raise LDL (low-density lipoprotein or bad cholesterol) cholesterol levels. Filtering coffee traps most LDL. However, cafestol and kahweol are found in espresso, Turkish coffee, French Press, and Scandinavian Style “cooked coffee”.

However, for a normal person, this won’t be any issue as a cup of espresso LDL amount is so small. There are also some studies at preliminary stages of diagnosis that have found marks that cafestol and kahweol may have some beneficial anti-cancer effects, and be good for your liver.
